Welcome. I’m Kristen. I’m so glad you’re here. I am an Institute for Integrative Nutrition certified and AutoImmune Protocol certified health coach and I am incredibly passionate about health and wellness. I would love to partner with you on your health journey towards optimal health for both you and your family.
At IIN I learned from leaders in the field of health and wellness such as Dr Mark Hyman, founder of Cleveland Clinic’s Functional Medicine Clinic; Dr Frank Lipman, founder of Be Well Medical Center; Dr Andrew Weil, Director of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr David Katz, Director of Yale University Prevention Research center, and many more leading researchers and nutrition authorities. I have studied practical lifestyle management techniques, innovative coaching methods, over 100 dietary theories and how to utilize these different theories for a variety of needs, preventative health, and complementary alternative medicines like Ayurveda, acupuncture, herbal remedies, homeopathy, traditional foods, supplements, and more.
My AIP training was deeply entrenched in the science of the immune system which allowed me to gain a better understand of exactly what goes wrong in a patient with autoimmune illnesses such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma and more, but more importantly, how to fix it using strategic nutritional shifts.
Additionally, I hold a BA in Psychology as well as a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.
I believe in the hallmark of IIN: “bioindividuality”, the belief that every body is different and one mans medicine is another mans poison.
I believe the body has the ability to heal itself, given half a chance. I take the job of helping you find what will heal you very seriously.
I believe food is information for your body, telling it how to respond, and I know first hand how powerful finding the right foods can be.
Let’s chat about how I can help you.
